Lord—
Forgive me for when…
I get so focused on all that is going on around me—even good things, things you are doing—that I forget to focus on You, to take time to just be with You and listen to Your voice.
And for when I get so focused on our needs, and then on Your answers to our prayers, that I forget to thank You.
I do thank You, for your faithfulness, for supplying so many of our needs so wondrously and generously and fully, and that we can trust You to supply our remaining needs because You are faithful.
Thank You for being our refuge and strength, our very present help in trouble.
Thank You for being our Abba, our Father.
Thank You for forgiving us…for forgiving me. Again and again.
Thank You for Jesus.
I love You, Lord. In Christ’s name I pray,
